Built in 1790 as a coaching inn, the Travellers Rest is a traditional country pub with a friendly atmosphere.
Visit us for drinks, a good quality pub meal, a snack or teas and coffee and enjoy our award-winning garden in summer or our roaring log fire in winter. For a longer stay, book one of our rooms for bed and breakfast. Wireless internet access available.
We are home to a number of skittles, darts and pool teams and the skittle alley can be hired for private events.
Coaches are welcome by prior arrangement. We are extremely pleased to have been awarded 5 star rating for food hygiene standards in May 2008. Debit cards are accepted.
